Make your personal profile look more professional (and much easier to share) by customizing your LinkedIn public profile URL. Instead of a URL with a million confusing numbers at the end, it will look nice and clean like this: http://www.linkedin.com/in/example.
Use Keywords With Intent
Words are so incredibly important, especially when search is a big part of the equation. Using the right keywords in your profile is the difference between being found and being invisible.
Identify the words you want to be found for when people use LinkedIn search and use those keywords in your headline, summary, and profile.

Of course the ultimate goal on LinkedIn is to get people to read your profile. So what LinkedIn doesn’t tell you, but what’s in my opinion more important than the number of views you get, is the number of referrals you get from LinkedIn to your website.
